Supported countries
Signet supports a passport when its issuing country signs it with a signature type Signet's proofs implement. Public certificate data shows these countries do.
Each signature type below is used with SHA-256. Where a country also signs some passports another way, the notes say which.

How this list is made
The list comes from the document signer certificates countries publish through the ICAO Public Key Directory. A country is listed when it has document signers whose keys Signet's proofs take, certified in a way Signet's registry accepts. Most countries have not yet been tested with a real passport, and a passport whose signature uses a hash other than SHA-256 will not work.
