Signet Agent

Signet Agent lets an AI agent act for its person at businesses that use Signet, carrying proof that a real, unique person stands behind it.

What it does

• Connects to any MCP agent. Signet Agent adds Signet to an AI agent through MCP, so it works with any agent that supports MCP, whatever its model or provider.
• Asks the person when a business needs it. When a business answers VERIFY FIRST, the agent asks its person to verify, and the person approves on their own device.
• Carries a limited permission. The person's device gives the agent a short-lived permission to act. The agent never holds the person's identity or secret.
• Checks with the person on sensitive actions. When a business requires it, the person approves the exact action on their device before it runs.

For people

A person verifies once. When a business asks for verification, the agent guides them through a one-time enrollment with Signet and carries on with the task. The next business that uses Signet needs no new enrollment.

For businesses

Customers bring Signet Agent with their AI agent. A business checks the requests it receives with the Merchant SDK, on its own server.
